Your Role

As Site Manager, you are fully responsible for the operational, organizational, and disciplinary leadership at our operational site in Ostrava. You ensure stable operations, high quality standards, and strict compliance with safety, customer, and process requirements. You lead your team with clarity, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset, acting as the key interface between employees, customers, and management. Also, you will be responsible for business development in the surrounding area: visiting customers and offering our services.

We will ensure your professional initial onboarding and training phase which will be 2-4 months long and will take place in Germany, ensuring a deep understanding of our processes, standards, systems, customer requirements and corporate culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall management and coordination of site operations in the Automotive environment in accordance with defined processes, standards, and management instructions
  • Disciplinary and functional leadership, development, and motivation of site employees
  • Planning and control of personnel deployment, capacity management, and vacation schedules
  • Ensuring compliance with Automotive-specific quality, occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements
  • Organization and documentation of safety briefings, instructions, risk assessments, and emergency measures
  • Responsibility for workplace organization, tools, equipment, and operational resources
  • Coordination of operational planning, order execution, reporting, and documentation
  • Review and approval of operational reports, time confirmations, and performance data
  • Active implementation and monitoring of Continuous Improvement (KVP) initiatives
  • Organization of first aid readiness and required occupational medical examinations
  • Active communication and enforcement of safety and health protection measures
  • Maintenance and development of customer relationships at the assigned operational sites
  • Confident use of SAP for operational processes
  • Business development in the surrounding area.

Your Profile

  • Completed vocational training or technical qualification (craft or technical background preferred)
  • Several years of professional experience in the Automotive or manufacturing industry
  • Proven experience in employee leadership and site or team management
  • Solid understanding of Automotive processes, quality standards, and occupational safety requirements
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and service-oriented environments
  • Confident handling of common measuring tools, equipment, and technical resources
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office and SAP
  • Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented working style
  • High sense of responsibility, assertiveness, and communication skills
  • Language skills: Czech, Englisch and German fluent spoken and written)
