As part of a new minivan development project, we supported an OEM plant in China with targeted Q-method coaching to empower local quality managers (BRI) and secure the series production launch.

PROJECT SCOPE

Support during the prototype phase for the development of a 5- to 7-seater vehicle for the Chinese market

THE CHALLENGE

Quality methodology knowledge at BRI was rudimentary, and preventive quality assurance was barely established. Furthermore, there was a lack of experience in prototype construction and systematic problem identification. The consequence was an increased risk of quality defects before series production.
