redi-Group at the VDA SME Day 2025 in Bonn

The 25th VDA SME Day took place on May 21 and 22, 2025, at the Kameha Grand Hotel in Bonn. Under the motto “Perspectives on Automotive Value Creation”, representatives from politics, science, and business discussed the situation of the mid-sized supplier sector. Topics such as the transformation to climate-neutral mobility, geopolitical developments, and the financing of innovations were central to the event.

The keynotes highlighted that mid-sized companies, despite economic uncertainties and high regulatory requirements, make a significant contribution to the industry’s innovation and competitiveness. VDA President Hildegard Müller emphasized the courage and adaptability of SMEs.

The redi-Group was also present as a VDA member. For the company, the event offered an important platform to deepen the dialogue with industry representatives. “The exchange about the current and future challenges facing SMEs is of great importance to us,” explains Onur Kayhan, Head of Sales at redi-Group. “Especially in times of profound transformations, it is crucial to bring together the perspectives of various stakeholders and jointly develop sustainable solutions.”

In addition to the plenary discussions, expert forums offered concrete insights into approaches for increasing efficiency, automation, and financing future projects. These impulses are, according to the redi-Group, valuable for working with customers and partners who face similar issues in their production and supply chains.

Outlook:
The redi-Group will use the insights gained at the SME Day to even more specifically support its customers and partners in implementing quality and supplier management projects. The SME Day has once again shown how important it is to address challenges together and to develop solutions for tomorrow’s mobility in dialogue with politics, science, and business.
