A Global Network for Sustainable Supplier Quality
OUR SERVICES
Design, development, and operational management of an international supplier quality program with specialized engineering roles and centralized program governance.
- •Supplier Quality Engineers
- •Technology Specialists
- •Resident Engineers
- •Project & Program Management
- •International Recruiting
- •On-site support at suppliers and the OEM’s production sites
- •KPIs, Reporting & Operational Control
- •Central Program Governance
THE SCOPE OF THE PROJECT
The program covers a variety of technologies, project phases, and international operational requirements.
- •Support for several commodity areas (including interior and exterior, drivetrain and powertrain, sensors and electronics)
- •Industrialization, series production, and aftersales projects
- •Technological and methodological expertise
- •Operational support directly at suppliers’ sites and at the OEM’s production locations
- •International deployment capability with a focus on Europe and global scalability
- •Scalable team structure tailored to project development
THE CHALLENGE
With increasing supply chain complexity, new technologies, and a growing number of parallel development and production projects, a purely locally organized quality management system reached its limits.
The OEM therefore needed not only additional capacity but also a structure that could reliably cover different commodities, suppliers, and project phases across national borders while being managed in a consistent manner.
- •Rapid response to quality, capacity, and supplier issues
- •Scalable team development in line with project progress
- •Standardized processes and clear responsibilities
- •Transparent KPIs and reporting structures
- •Local autonomy with centralized management
The strategic goal: not merely to fill individual roles, but to establish a complete supplier-quality ecosystem with local presence and centralized transparency.
OUR SOLUTION
Working closely with the client, the redi-Group developed an international project structure featuring specialized commodity teams and centralized program governance.
The engineering teams work directly at the relevant supplier and production sites. Cross-functional processes, KPIs, reporting, and operational management are coordinated centrally.
In this way, the program combines on-site engineering expertise with a unified international management structure.
THE RESULT
A scalable global supplier quality engineering network instead of project-based individual assignments
One-stop international supplier support
Fast response times thanks to a local presence
Consistent quality standards across national borders
Flexible scaling for new projects and launches
Transparent management via KPIs and reporting
